The leaves are fallin’, the temperature is droppin’, and you ready for a glass of Granny’s Sweet Apple Pie Moonshine. After all nothing tastes better than apples in the fall. Here’s a Caramel twist to Granny’s Famous Apple Concoction. It will make you the talk of the town.
3 can of frozen apple juice concentrate
1 gallon apple cider
5 cinnamon sticks
6 whole cloves
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
10 pieces of caramel candy
1 Pint of Caramel Vodka
1 Pint of Moonshine
In a large stock pot bring frozen apple juice concentrate, apple cider, cinnamon sticks, cloves, brown sugar, white sugar, and caramel candy to a boil. Once you have brought to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Let it continue to simmer for an hour, stirring occasionally. After it is done, let set and cool to room temperature. Once cooled strain out the cloves and cinnamon sticks. Then add the vodka and moonshine and stir well. Pour into some mason jars and store in your refrigerator.
If you’re feelin’ real fancy, garnish your drink with apple slices and cinnamon sticks.
